Casper Ruud to face Rafael Nadal in French Open men’s singles final

Ruud beats Marin Cilic with sets of 3-6, 6-4, 6-2, and 6-2 at Paris' Philippe-Chatrier

ISTANBUL (AA) - Casper Ruud will face Rafael Nadal in the French Open men’s singles final after beating Marin Cilic on Friday.

The 23-year-old Norwegian defeated Cilic of Croatia with sets of 3-6, 6-4, 6-2, and 6-2 at the semifinal game that lasted two hours and 55 minutes at Paris' Philippe-Chatrier.

The final clash will be held at the same court on Sunday.

Meanwhile, a protester interrupted the semifinal as she walked into the court and tied herself to the net during the game.
