JUBA, South Sudan (AA) – An aircraft carrying 20 people crashed in South Sudan on Wednesday, an official said.
Gatwech Bipal, information and communication minister of Unity State, said the aircraft crashed soon after taking off from an airport in the region.
The aircraft was scheduled to travel to the capital Juba.
Bipal said he was on the way to the crash site in the Unity State which is located in the Greater Upper Nile region.
