ISTANBUL (AA) - Chelsea midfielder will miss the English Premier League trip against Manchester City, the Blues manager Thomas Tuchel said on Friday.
"Kova is unfortunately still out. We hope to bring him back for the game against Arsenal and then hopefully for Wembley [FA Cup final v Leicester]," Tuchel said in a statement.
"It will be tight for the Arsenal game but for tomorrow, for sure, he is will be out. Everyone else is available for tomorrow's match," he added.
Kovacic, 27, suffered a hamstring injury ahead of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal game against FC Porto in training.
Croatian midfielder scored two goals and seven assists in 137 games for the Blues.
The City will host the London side at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
