BEIJING (AA) – Chinese authorities confirmed Sunday that an explosion believed to have been caused by a homemade explosive left at least three people injured at a Shanghai airport.
The Shanghai Daily reported that two of the wounded suffered serious injuries after the blast occurred at a check-in counter at Pudong International Airport at around 2.20 p.m. (0620GMT).
The site has been cordoned off.
