Launch marks 626th flight mission of Long March carrier rocket series

ISTANBUL (AA) - China on Thursday successfully launched a remote sensing satellite into space via a Long March-2C carrier rocket.

The rocket took off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China, according to China Science, run by the newspaper People’s Daily.

This marked the 626th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
