ISTANBUL (AA) - China's consumer prices decreased by 0.3% year on year in September, according to official National Bureau of Statistics data released on Wednesday.
Consumer prices, meanwhile, increased by 0.1% on a monthly basis.
In August, the country's annual inflation was also on the negative side, with a minus 0.4%.
The core annual inflation, excluding food and energy prices, rose to 1% in September, marking the fifth consecutive increase.
The core inflation saw the strongest increase since February 2024.
