ISTANBUL (AA) - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will officially visit Italy and Switzerland from Oct. 7 to 12 to hold meetings, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced Sunday.
Wang Yi will hold the 12th Joint Meeting of the China-Italy Government Committee in Italy and then travel to Switzerland to participate in the 4th round of the China-Switzerland Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue, according to a statement by the ministry.
Wang is visiting at the invitation of Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, and the Swiss Foreign Minister, Ignazio Cassis.
