ISTANBUL (AA) - A Chinese-flagged vessel sank off the coast of Guangzhou, China following a collision with a Singapore-registered container ship, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) said Sunday.
Two of the 15 crew members on the Chinese-registered vessel Hai Li 5 remain missing after the collision Saturday night, the MPA said.
The Singapore-registered vessel, Wan Hai A17, remains in stable condition with no injuries reported among its 23 crew members and no pollution has been reported, it added.
The MPA added that it is investigating the incident and Chinese authorities are conducting search and rescue operations.
