ISTANBUL (AA) - China said Tuesday that an ex-chief of its largest aviation corporation was indicted over graft as well as revealing confidential information.

Tan Ruisong, ex-chair of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, was indicted on suspected bribery, insider trading, and "disclosing inside information," reported the state-run news agency Xinhua, citing the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP).

Tan is accused of embezzling public assets, seeking large illicit gains for others, and accepting significant bribes in return.

He is also accused of repeatedly trading sensitive and non-public information for trading activities.

The case has been filed at a court in the northeastern city of Dalian.

The aviation company is responsible for producing China's domestic military aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and helicopters, as well as other civilian aircraft.
