Manchester United get their 3rd loss in last 4 Premier League games

ANKARA (AA) – Manchester City got a 2-0 away win against Manchester United in Premier League week 11 derby on Saturday.

The Citizens started the game fast and got an early lead as Eric Bailly of United scored an own goal in the 7th minute at Old Trafford.

Manchester City seemed more effective in the first half and their efforts paid off as Bernardo Silva's shot to the bottom right corner made it 2-0 for them just before the end of the first half.

After the start of the second half, The Red Devils missed a chance to take one back as Mason Greenwood missed an opportunity to score in the 59th minute.

Turkish-origin German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan missed the chance to make it 3-0 for The Citizens in the 66th minute.

Manchester City missed several more chances to score until the end of the game but did not manage to score and the derby ended 2-0.

With this victory, City currently climbed up to the second spot in English Premier League with 23 points while United got their third loss in the last four Premier League games and placed 6th with 17 points.
