Curry leads Warriors to 101-98 victory against Grizzlies for 3-1 lead in series

Stephen Curry drops 32 points, Andrew Wiggins contributes with 17 points, 11 rebounds

ANKARA (AA) - Golden State Warriors beat Memphis Grizzlies 101-98 on Tuesday for 3-1 lead in the NBA Western Conference semifinals.

Stephen Curry rallied the Warriors to victory with 32 points, while Andrew Wiggins contributed with 17 points and 11 rebounds at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Jaren Jackson Jr. dropped 21 points and Steven Adams had 15 rebounds, but both could not prevent the Grizzlies' defeat.

"Shoot the shots you think you can make, play aggressive, take care of the ball. We did all of those things," Curry said of the game.

With 458 points, Phoenix Suns coach Monty Williams has been named the 2021-22 NBA Coach of the Year, the NBA announced.

Memphis Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins was placed second with 270 points and Erik Spoelstra of Miami Heat third with 72 points in the list voted by a global panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters.

Williams led the Phoenix to 64-18 record in the regular season, the most victories and the highest winning percentage in a season in NBA history.

He was named the NBA Western Conference Coach of the Month twice (October/November 2021 and January 2022), and coached Team LeBron in the 2022 NBA All-Star Game.
