MOSCOW (AA) - Death toll from floods caused by explosion at the Kakhovka dam in Ukraine last month has risen to 55, according to Russia's state-run TASS news agency on Thursday.
As many as "144 people were hospitalized with various injuries, and bodies of 55 people were found," the news agency said.
Both Moscow and Kyiv have blamed each other for carrying out strikes at the dam located in Ukraine's Kherson region on June 6, which led to the partial destruction of the barrier, resulting in flooding of nearby areas.
