ZAPORIZHZHIA, Ukraine (AA) - At least 10 people were killed Saturday in a Russian missile attack on Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia city.

Search and rescue efforts continue in the debris of a house where the attack was carried out early Thursday, according to the Ukraine State Emergency Service.

It said teams recovered three more bodies, including a child from the debris Thursday, bringing the death toll to 10.

Civilians whose houses were destroyed or partially damaged are trying to salvage their belongings.

Yulia Petreenko told Anadolu that she was home with her husband during the attack and they heard two loud explosions.

She said that their house was partially damaged.

“The windows were destroyed when the first explosion happened. About half a minute later, the second explosion occurred. I thought everything would collapse after the second explosion," said Petreenko.

She said they entered the house and took usable items after getting permission from authorities, adding that they would temporarily move to her sibling’s house.
