LONDON (AA) - The deceased male suspected of firebombing a migrant center in the coastal city of Dover, England was identified by local police on Monday as a 66-year-old from Buckinghamshire, southeastern England.
Kent police said that with assistance from Thames Valley Police, they executed a warrant at a property owned by the suspect in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
"Officers have confirmed that the suspect, found deceased at a nearby petrol station, is a 66-year-old man from the High Wycombe area,” Kent police said.
On Sunday, two or three flammable devices were thrown at a Border Force migrant center in Dover by a “single suspect who arrived at the scene in a car.”
Police were called to the scene at 11.22 a.m. local time, and the fire service put out the fire. Two people suffered minor injuries in the attack.
Police confirmed that a man was found dead at a petrol station nearby after the attack.
