ANKARA (AA) - The Boston Celtics once again stayed alive in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat after being down 0-3, forcing a Game 7 at home.

The Celtics beat the Heat 104-103 on a buzzer-beating, series-saving, history-making put-back by Derrick White in Game 6 on Saturday.

Despite being up 10 points with 4 minutes to go in the game, the Celtics could not hold on as the Heat, with 3 seconds to go, went up by 1 point after Jimmy Butler made three free throws.

The Celtics tried to respond with a Marcus Smart three-point attempt. The shot rimmed out but White was there to save the season for his team, completing the put-back at the buzzer.

The Celtics made history, becoming the 4th team ever in NBA history to come back from a 0-3 series deficit to force a Game 7.

Jayson and Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined for 57 points, while the man of the hour Derrick White scored 11 points and dished out 6 assists during the win.

For the Heat, Jimmy Butler - who scored 12 points in the final four minutes of the game - was his team's high-scorer with 24.

Caleb Martin chipped in with 21 points and 15 rebounds, while Bam Adebayo scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

This is the 4th time in NBA history that a team evened the series at 3-3 after being down 0-3.

In the 1951 NBA Finals, Rochester Royals blew a 0-3 lead against the Knicks, but managed to win Game 7 to become champions.

In the 1994 playoffs second round, the Jazz went up against the Nuggets 3-0, but the Nuggets forced a Game 7, only to lose.

In the 2003 playoffs first round, the Dallas Mavericks were up 3-0 against the Portland Trail Blazers. The series tied up at 3-3. Dallas won Game 7.
