ISTANBUL (AA) - Fenerbahce have reached an agreement with Major League Soccer for the permanent transfer of Diego Rossi, the Turkish football club announced on Friday.
Rossi inked a three-year contract to play for Fenerbahce and a transfer fee has been set at €5.5 million (almost $6 million), the team said in a statement.
Joining the Yellow Canaries last year, Rossi has produced four goals and seven assists in 33 matches so far.
The 24-year-old helped Club Atletico Penarol win two Uruguayan Primera Division titles.
The Uruguayan winger also clinched the South American Under-20 Championship for his country.
