ANKARA (AA) - Mexican foreign minister on Tuesday announced direct flights from Istanbul to Mexico City would start in August.
In a Twitter post, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon said he had a “long talk” with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu -- who went to the Mexico City to hold official talks on Monday.
He added: “… the direct flights from Istanbul to Mexico City start in August.”
Earlier Tuesday, Cavusoglu said Turkish Airlines would add Mexico City to its destinations in Latin America.
