ISTANBUL (AA) - A 4.9 magnitude quake left some houses damaged in the eastern Afghanistan province of Nangarhar on Tuesday.
Nangarhar Media Office said that more information on the damage will be released later, local Ariana News reported.
The tremor occurred at 3.20 pm (1050GMT), according to the US Geological Survey (USGS), and was felt in the capital Kabul, the province's capital Jalalabad, and the surrounding areas.
The epicenter of the quake was located near Jalalabad city, at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles).
