Nigeria secured a 2-0 victory against Guinea-Bissau with goals from Umar Sadiq and William Troost-Ekong at Roumde Adjia Stadium in the Cameroonian city of Garoua.

Nigeria are atop the group, winning all their matches. Egypt collected six points and are in second place after three matches.

Five-time champion Cameroon is the host nation of the 33rd edition of Africa’s flagship football tournament that is held every two years.

Following the group stage with 24 nations in six groups that ends Jan. 20, the Round of 16 will be held from Jan. 23-26.

The final will take place on Feb. 6 at Yaounde's Olembe Stadium.
