Erdogan receives Iraqi prime minister in Ankara

Pair to hold news conference following meeting

ANKARA (AA) - President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi in an official ceremony at the presidential palace Wednesday.

Erdogan and Abdul-Mahdi are expected to exchange views on several regional and international issues.

The duo also will hold a joint news conference following the meeting.

Among those in attendance were Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun.
