The number of teams in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague will increase to 20 beginning in the 2025-26 season, according to an announcement Thursday on the league’s website.
The EuroLeague Commercial Assets (ECA) Shareholders' Board approved the proposal to expand the number of teams from 18 at its meeting.
It noted that the proposal will be submitted to the General Assembly for final approval, and further developments will be shared with the public.
