ANKARA (AA) – European stock markets closed higher on Wednesday with rise in industrial production.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 3.12 points, or 0.65%, to close at 486.20.
London's FTSE 100 was the best performer of the day, gaining 60 points, or 0.81%, to end at 7,551.
Germany's DAX 30 rose 68 points, or 0.43%, to close at 16,010, while France's CAC 40 climbed 53 points, or 0.75%, to 7,237.
Italy's FTSE MIB 30 gained 178 points, or 0.65%, to close at 27,714. Spain's IBEX 35 added 14 points, or 0.16%, to finish at 8,770.
Industrial production in the EU rose 2.5% on a monthly basis in November 2021, according to figures released by Eurostat earlier.
