ISTANBUL (AA) – Major European markets closed the week with gains amid diminishing inflationary concerns.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, gained 6.22 points, or 1.42%, to end the week at 443.93.
The UK’s FTSE 100 index was up 20.54, or 0.27%, to 7,585 points.
Germany’s DAX 30 climbed 1.62%, or 230.90 points, to 14,462, while France’s CAC 40 gained 1.64%, or 105.17 points, to 6,515.
Italy’s FTSE MIB rose by 89.76 points, or 0.37%, to 24,636.
Spain’s IBEX 35 also posted an increase, up 44.80 points, or 0.5%, to end the day at 8,933.
Major stock exchanges in Asia also finished the week on the positive side, while Turkiye’s benchmark stock index was down at Friday’s close.
