ISTANBUL (AA) – European stock exchanges closed with gains on Friday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up 2.32 points, or 0.52%, to 452.54.
The UK's FTSE 100 increased 50 points, or 0.64%, to end the session at 7,844.
Germany's DAX 30, meanwhile, added 28 points, or 0.19%, to finish at 15,086.
France's CAC 40 was the best performer of the day by gaining 47 points, or 0.69%, to end at 7,023.
Italy's FTSE MIB jumped 49 points, or 0.19%, to reach 25,783.
Spain's IBEX 35 also rose by 53 points, or 0.61%, to close at 8,881.
