ANKARA (AA) - European stock markets closed higher Friday, except for the UK exchange.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 2.98 points, or 0.62%, to close at 485.49.
London's FTSE 100 fell 1.24 points, or 0.02%, to end at 7,372.
Germany's DAX 30 rose 78 points, or 0.5%, to close at 15,835. France's CAC 40 climbed 53 points, or 0.76%, to 7,140.
Italy's FTSE MIB 30 was the best performer of the day, adding 214 points, or 0.8%, to close at 27,231.
Spain's IBEX 35 added 58 points, or 0.68%, to finish at 8,622.
