ISTANBUL (AA) – European stocks closed higher on Thursday except Italy’s FTSE MIB.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up by 1.83 points, or 0.4%, to close at 464.21.
UK’s FTSE 100 rose by 18 points, or 0.24%, to finish the session at 7,843, while Germany’s DAX 30 added 25 points, or 0.16%, to reach 15,729.
France’s CAC 40 was the best performer of the day, soaring by 83 points, or 1.13%, to hit 7,480 at the closing bell.
Spain’s IBEX 35 was up by 31 points, or 0.34%, to close at 9,310.
Italy’s FTSE MIB, on the other hand, dropped two points, or 0.01%, to 27,626.
