ANKARA (AA) - European stock markets closed lower on Tuesday except for the UK's FTSE 100.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, declined four points, or 0.9%, to finish at 441.10 points.
London's FTSE 100, on the other hand, increased 5.65 points, or 0.08%, to 7,386.
Germany's DAX 30 lost 167 points, or 1.2%, to end the day at 13,756, while France's CAC 40 fell 34 points, or 0.54%, to close at 6,414.
Italy's FTSE MIB decreased 226 points, or 0.95%, to 23,681.
Spain's IBEX 35 was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 135 points, or 1.58%, to end the day at 8,439.
