ISTANBUL (AA) — European stock exchanges ended Wednesday with losses except for Spain.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 3.87 points, or 0.83%, to finish the day at 463.21.
The UK's FTSE 100 lost 38 points, or 0.49%, to end the session at 7,852. Germany's DAX 30, meanwhile, shed 76 points, or 0.48%, to 15,795.
France's CAC 40 was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 64 points, or 0.86%, to close at 7,466.
Italy's FTSE MIB dropped 145 points, or 0.54%, to 27,107.
Spain's IBEX 35, on the other hand, rose 3.4 points, or 0.04%, to end the day at 9,293.
