ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Super Lig team Bursaspor sacked manager Paul Le Guen on Tuesday after the team's poor performance in recent weeks.
The team said talks with Le Guen to reach a mutual agreement to terminate his contract failed, leaving the club with no other option than sacking the 54-year-old French manager.
Assistant manager Mustafa Er is expected to take over for the remaining six matches.
Bursaspor on Sunday lost to Kasimpasa 0-1 at home, put the club's secure position at risk at standings table.
The club now have 33 points in 28 matches, and sitting at the 13th spot, only 5 points better than the 16th place Konyaspor.
