ANKARA (AA) - Turkish football club Trabzonspor star Daniel Sturridge sustained a calf injury, the team said on Friday.
Trabzonspor announced on their website that the English player was diagnosed with a grade one strain in his left calf.
According to the club doctor, Sturridge is getting treatment from the team doctors, while the Trabzonspor striker may be out for one to three weeks.
The English forward was injured in a Turkish Super Lig away match against Istanbul Basaksehir.
The 30-year-old English international joined Trabzonspor in August 2019, inking a three year contract with his team.
