ISTANBUL (AA) - Football club Monaco on Wednesday signed the top scorer of Spain’s Sevilla.
Monaco, which competes in France's top-tier Ligue 1, announced that it had signed a five-year contract with Wissam Ben Yedder, a 29-year-old striker.
According to French media reports, Monaco paid some €40 million ($44.5 million) to Sevilla for the transfer.
Ben Yedder played in 54 matches last season in Sevilla, scoring 30 goals.
He was transferred to the Spanish football club in 2016.
