Manchester United shatter City's 21-game winning streak with goals of Bruno Fernandes , Luke Shaw

ISTANBUL (AA) - Manchester United brought Manchester City's 21-match winning streak to an end in Sunday's Manchester derby.

Playing at City's Etihad Stadium, Bruno Fernandes and Luke Shaw scored for United.

Having 65 points, Manchester City still have an 11-point lead over the Red Devils despite their historic winning run in all competitions ended.

Liverpool suffered a sixth straight home defeat as Fulham claim a 1-0 away win at Anfield. Leicester City defeated Brighton with a 2-1 score at the Falmer Stadium.

With this result, United return to second place with 54 points, while Leicester City have 53 points to be in the third spot in the English Premier League.


- Spanish La Liga

Real Madrid secured one point with a draw with league leaders Atletico Madrid at Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid derby.

Barcelona won against Osasuna 2-0 at away, while Sevilla lost to Elche 2-1 at away.

Atletico Madrid top the standings with 59 points, Barcelona have 56 and Real Madrid received 54 points to chase the leader.


- Italian Serie A

AC Milan beat Hellas Verona 2-0 in an away game on Sunday.

Juventus defeated Lazio 3-1, whereas Roma beat Genoa 1-0 at home.

Inter Milan, who top Serie A with 59 points, will host Atalanta. The second-placed AC Milan collected 56 points and third-place Juventus have 52 points.


- German Bundesliga

Bayern Munich came from two goals down to defeat Borussia Dortmund with a 4-2 score in Week 24's most anticipated game.

The Bavarians boosted their points to 55 in the league.

Leipzig beat Freiburg 3-0 as Hoffenheim won against Wolfsburg 2-1.

Bayern are followed by Leipzig with 53 points, while Wolfsburg have 45 points.


- French Ligue 1

Lille won against Olympique de Marseille 2-0 to increase their points to 62 on matchday 28.

Paris Saint-Germain beat Bordeaux 1-0 and Olympique Lyon defeated Rennes with the same score.

Second-placed PSG have 60 points and third-placed Olympique Lyon collected 59 points.
