ANKARA (AA) - Senegal qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semifinals on Wednesday.
Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye scored the winning goal for Senegal against Benin in the 70th minute of the match in Cairo, Egypt.
Benin defender Olivier Verdon was sent off towards the end of the match to leave the team 10 men.
Senegal will play against Madagascar or Tunisia in the AFCON semifinal on Sunday.
