ANKARA (AA) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) flows to Türkiye soared 23% from a year ago in the first quarter of 2023, according to official data released on Thursday.
Türkiye attracted $2.3 billion in January-March, bringing the 12-month rolling figure to $13.5 billion, showed the Central Bank figures.
The largest amount of FDI flows were from the Netherlands, France, Germany, Ireland, and Luxemburg.
The manufacturing industry received the most FDI with a share of 57%, wholesale and retail trade followed it with 24%, and finance and insurance activities with 4%.
