PARIS (AA) – The French government will provide a €15 million ($15.4 million) loan for glassware maker Duralex amid energy crisis, the industry minister said on Monday.
Speaking at a radio broadcast, Roland Lescure said the loan will aid the company to resume production which was halted in September due to soaring energy prices.
"The company was in the process of recovery. Duralex was making money in early 2022, and this energy shock has been a brake for the recovery of the company," Lescure said.
