ANKARA (AA) - France's industrial production declined for the third consecutive month in April, according to official data released on Friday.
The total industrial production, which includes output in manufacturing, energy, and construction, fell 0.1% in April, compared to the previous month, the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies said in a statement.
While the market expectation for the figure was to post a 0.3% monthly gain in April, it declined 0.4% in March from the month before.
The manufacturing output, the largest component of the industrial production, declined 0.4% in April, after posting a 0.2% decrease in March.
