ANKARA (AA) - Galatasaray chairperson was rushed to a hospital for weakness and weight loss complaints Thursday, according to the Turkish football club.

Mustafa Cengiz, 70, had tests and his complaints were not related to the new coronavirus, the Lions said on Twitter.

Cengiz was given two units of blood and doctors advised him to stay at the hospital for treatment.

He has been president of the Istanbul club since 2018 with Galatasaray winning back-to-back Turkish Super Lig titles.
