ANKARA (AA) - Turkish champions Galatasaray reinforced their football team with two new signings on Tuesday.

The Istanbul club posted a video on Twitter to welcome Turkish right back Sener Ozbayrakli and Swedish winger Jimmy Durmaz.

Ozbayrakli, 29, previously played for Galatasaray's archrivals Fenerbahce. Ozbayrakli's deal at Fenerbahce ran out in June, making Galatasaray available for the player to be signed on a free transfer.

He had 110 appearances at Fenerbahce, scoring five goals and making 14 assists since July 2015.

Lions also snapped up 30-year-old Swedish international Durmaz for free.

Durmaz lastly played for French team Toulouse.

A former Turkish Super Lig player, Durmaz netted 11 goals and produced five assists in 90 matches in Toulouse since Aug. 2016.

During his career Durmaz also played for Sweden's Malmo, Turkish club Genclerbirligi and Greek powerhouse Olympiacos.

He won the Swedish league title in 2010, while playing for Malmo.

Durmaz also won back-to-back Greek Super League titles with Olympiacos in 2015 and 2016.

Galatasaray also recently acquired Nigerian defender Valentine Ozornwafor, Turkish winger Adem Buyuk and Dutch forward Ryan Babel.
