MOSCOW (AA) - Russian energy company Gazprom recorded a net loss of 1.076 trillion rubles (about $12.9 billion) in 2024, it said in a report published Monday.
The company’s revenues increased by 11.3% last year compared to 2023, reaching 6.3 trillion rubles ($75.5 billion).
It lost 767.2 billion rubles ($9.2 billion) in the last quarter of 2024.
Gazprom, which aims to compensate for the loss of revenue in Europe due to sanctions by increasing natural gas supplies to China and the domestic market, is also increasing its liquefied natural gas (LNG) investments.
