ISTANBUL (AA) - Import prices in Germany rose by 2.1% in March on a yearly basis, the federal statistical authority Destatis released on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the country's export prices increased by 2% over the same period.
Consumer goods prices rose by 3.6%, having the largest impact on import prices in March.
The prices of imported agricultural products in March were 12.3% higher than in the same month a year earlier.
Energy imports were also more expensive, up 2.4% year-on-year in March.
On a monthly basis, import prices decreased by 1% in March.
