BERLIN (AA) - The world’s largest freestanding aquarium in Berlin’s Radisson hotel shattered on Friday morning, releasing hundreds of gallons of water onto the street.
Berlin police spokesman Martin Stralau said at least one person is slightly injured, and initial investigations indicate that the incident was possibly an accident.
The AquaDom was known to contain over 1,500 fish of 50 species, and it was located in the lobby of the luxury hotel.
