ANKARA (AA) - A helicopter taking part in firefighting operations on the Greek island of Sisam crashed into the Aegean Sea with several people onboard, according to media reports.
Two of four crew members were rescued when the Mi-8-type chopper plunged into the waters off the island, according to the Kathimerini newspaper.
Among the crew members were a Romanian, two Moldovans and a Greek translator, it said.
An operation is underway to rescue the remaining victims.
