ATHENS (AA) – A Greek fighter jet on Thursday crashed into the Aegean Sea, Greek Defense Ministry said.
The Mirage 2000-5 aircraft went down around 12:15 local time (0915GMT) northeast of Skyros Island, east of Eyvia peninsula.
The ministry said a search and rescue mission was underway to locate the pilot.
