IHH inaugurates Malcolm X High School in Burkina Faso

School is to host 735 female students, including 120 orphans, in northern town of Titao

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) inaugurated a high school named after the U.S. Muslim and black rights' activist Malcolm X in Burkina Faso, the foundation said in a written statement issued Wednesday.

The high school has been built next to an orphanage that IHH had previously opened in the northern town of Titao.

The establishment consists of seven classrooms, including a computer room, a library and an administrative room.

Some 735 female students have been registered to the school,120 of them orphans.

Malcolm X High School is part of the foundation's orphan’s solidarity initiative.
