IDLIB, Syria (AA) - Days after a deadly Assad regime chemical attack, the northwestern Syrian town of Khan Shaykhun has reportedly been bombed again, producing yet another casualty.

Mustafa al-Hajj Yousuf, Khan Shaykhun’s civilian defense director, told Anadolu Agency that the town was subjected to an airstrike early this morning.

"Russian-type planes belonging to the regime bombed the town," he said.

Yusuf stated that the attack killed a woman in the civilian settlements.

The wounded were taken to the nearest healthcare centers by civilian defense teams, he added.

On Tuesday, in a chemical attack blamed on the Assad regime, some 100 civilians were killed and 500 more injured.

Following the tragic incident in a town where tens of thousands used to live, most civilians began to leave their homes due to the risk of being poisoned by the chemicals left behind.
