ANKARA (AA) – India on Thursday successfully tested two short-range ballistic missiles, according to an official statement.

The Defense Ministry said the test-firing of short-range ballistic missiles—Prithvi-II and Agni-1—was carried out from the integrated test range in the Chandipur area in eastern Odisha state.

“All operational and technical parameters have been validated,” it said, adding that the launches were conducted under the aegis of strategic forces command.
