JAKARTA (AA) - Indonesia issued a tsunami warning Tuesday after an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 struck the East Nusa Tenggara region.
"Tsunami Early Warning for areas: Maluku, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, South Sulawesi, North Sulawesi. Magnitude Earthquake: 7.5, 14-Dec-21 10:20:22 Western Indonesian Time," said the country's meteorological department in a statement.
The epicenter of the quake was around Larantuka, East Nusa Tenggara, the department added.
