ISTANBUL (AA) - The Indonesian central bank decided to keep its policy rate -- seven-day reverse repo rate -- unchanged at 3.5% on Thursday.

The decision is consistent with the core inflation forecast which is still under control amid the global economic slowdown, Bank Indonesia said.

The bank will continue to be aware of the risk of rising inflation expectations, it added.

The country's annual inflation rate was 4.35% in June, up from 3.55% in May and 1.33% in June 2021.
