Missile hits Bnei Brak city near Tel Aviv as sirens sounded across central, southern areas

By Said Amori

JERUSALEM (AA) - An Iranian missile directly struck a building in the city of Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv in central Israel, causing multiple injuries, local media reported Saturday.

The missile hit a building in Bnei Brak, wounding several Israelis, according to Yedioth Ahronoth and Channel 12.

Earlier, the Israeli army said it had detected a new barrage of missiles launched from Iran as part of evening attacks toward Israeli territory.

Air raid sirens sounded in several areas in central and southern Israel following the launches.

Israeli authorities maintain strict censorship regarding losses resulting from Iranian missile fire, including the number of projectiles that landed and their impact locations, according to Israeli media reports.

On Saturday morning, the US and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran, claiming it was meant to remove “threats” posed by the Iranian “regime.” In response, Iran targeted Israel and the US bases in the region with missiles and drones.
