JERUSALEM (AA) – Iranian aggression has pushed the Arab world and Israel closer together, a senior advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday.
Currently attending a major Mideast conference in Warsaw, Jason Greenblatt, Trump’s special advisor on Israel, reviewed recent developments in Israeli-Arab relations.
“Clearly, Iran’s aggression in the region has brought Israel and the Arab world closer together,” Greenblatt tweeted.
He went on to hail the two-day conference, where, he said, participants had “an open, honest talk about numerous regional challenges”.
The two-day event, to which Iranian representatives were not invited, is ostensibly aimed at discussing peace and security in the Middle East, the fight against terrorism, and missile development and proliferation.
Representatives of nearly 50 countries, including Israel and several Arab states, are taking part in the event.
